From my heart to your products
Hi, I’m Claudia Helena Vasquez — an Italo-Colombian surface pattern designer and artist living in the U.S. I hold a degree in Fine Arts and an Associate’s in Education. Before fully stepping into the design world, I spent 11 wonderful years teaching — an experience that continues to shape how I approach art and design: with intention, empathy, and a touch of joy.
Currently, I work mostly in pencil and digital tools, crafting patterns that feel simple, mindful, gently textured, and hand-crafted — with artisanal touches woven into select designs.
My style blends modern simplicity with natural influences and a subtle sense of ancestral wisdom and the mystical. I’m inspired by nature tones, from bold to earth tones, natural forms, geometry, memory, and the subtle energies and stories beneath the surface of all things that give beauty its deeper meaning.
Though my work is shaped by my journey — memories of home, familiar patterns, my inner world and nature’s rhythms — it’s made for now. I design for those who are drawn to things that feel true: calm, alive, gently crafted, and rooted in respect for the natural world.
When I’m not drawing, you’ll often find me near water, walking slowly, reading, or enjoying a quiet cup of tea — moving through life with care, and letting the next idea arrive in its own time.
