Let’s bring your vision to life with a custom pattern designed just for you. Below, you’ll find a step-by-step guide on how we can collaborate, from the first inspiration to the final delivered design.

Step 1: Getting Started

(Let’s Begin the Journey)

Once you decide to move forward, I’ll send you an email requesting key details, including:

  • Intended product use & Real dimensions of the object the pattern will be applied to
  • Repeating tile size needed
  • Theme & style: if you want to go with a style direction similar to a pattern you saw in my portfolio, please attach a screenshot
  • Inspiration images – elements and compositions
  • Color preferences (RGB, CMYK,)
  • Pantone, or specific color hues and combinations
  • Your availability for a Zoom call
  • You can choose your licensing type now or decide by the second Zoom meeting.
  • Once I receive your response, I’ll schedule our first Zoom meeting based on your availability.

Step 2: First Zoom Meeting

(Concept & Direction)

During this call, we’ll go over the details you provided in the form, ensuring I fully understand your vision. This is your chance to elaborate on key elements and clarify any specifics. We’ll discuss product application and the overall design direction:

  • elements and their scale
  • composition: negative & positive space
  • Textures
  • Color preferences
  • This helps refine the concept before I start designing, making sure we’re aligned on every detail.
  • We will schedule a second zoom meeting, allowing me 1.5 weeks to work on the design.
  • A 25% deposit of the design price will be required at this stage. This deposit is non-refundable and secures your custom project.

Step 3: Design Creation

(Progress Update)

  • I will spend the next week and a half developing your design.
  • A day or two before our second meeting, I will send you a screenshot preview of the design. This gives you time to prepare any notes for our next Zoom meeting.


4: Second Zoom Meeting

(Review & Refinements)

During this session, we will :

  • Go over your feedback and make any necessary adjustments (rescaling elements, color tweaks, element modifications, etc.)
  • Finalize composition and other design details
  • If you haven’t selected your licensing option yet, now’s the time!
  • After this meeting, I will use one additional week to polish the final details.
  • Before delivery, I will send a final screenshot for approval.

Step 5: Payment & Final Delivery

Once the design is approved, the remaining 75% of the custom design fee and 100% of the chosen licensing deal must be transferred.

📌 Delivery Time: The final design files (PNG & JPG) will be sent within the same day or by the next day after payment confirmation. To keep everything on track, kindly email me when your payment has been sent.

If you decide you want to take the design in a different direction or make adjustments beyond what we’ve already discussed and refined, here’s what to expect:

Additional 45-minute Zoom meeting $50

$40 – $60 per major change

$20 per small tweak
